Event Details

The City of Boulder invites you to join a virtual public webinar about the Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP).

The CWPP proactively identifies wildfire risks in the wildland-urban interface, which refers to areas where undeveloped lands meet the places where people live and work in Boulder. The CWPP, when complete, will serve as a guiding document that will assist the city and the Boulder community in making informed decisions with respect to wildfire preparedness and risk reduction.

In this event, community members will hear a brief presentation on the CWPP process, current project status, public resources, and next steps. The webinar will finish with time for question and answer with the following panel members: Chief Brian Oliver (Boulder Fire-Rescue), Kerry Webster (Boulder Fire-Rescue), Meg Halford (Boulder County), Monika Weber (Boulder Office of Disaster Management), Paul Dennison (City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks), and Vicky Amato and Arianna Porter (both SWCA Environmental Consultants).
